Is Sound Healing for Me?
Everyone has a different experience of their sound healing session, depending on who they are. A sound healing session is perfect for you if:
-
You love to listen to music to unwind and get in touch with your inner world 🎶
-
You are feeling stuck with a particular block or repeating pattern that has been playing out in your life, and you are ready to let it go 🌈
-
You are experiencing physical, emotional or mental exhaustion and are in deep need of replenishing 🍵
-
You are craving to get more in touch with your intuitive side 🎨
-
You seek to be held lovingly in your experience of life 🫂
-
You have a rich inner world and like to explore the inner workings of your life through colour, sounds, dreams and symbols 🔮
What happens in a session?
1:1 Sessions
The 60-minute session will begin with a gentle check-in. You'll have time to talk with me about what's most present in your life, and perhaps set an intention if that feels right – some like to chat, others prefer to start the sound healing straight away, and both are perfectly fine! I'll then take a moment to drop into a meditative state, tuning into the healing space and setting an intention for your session.
After this, I will guide you into a relaxed, alert, and meditative state, often with some guided imagery or suggestions to check in with your body. Once we're connected energetically, and you're feeling relaxed and receptive, I will start to sing completely intuitively whilst you simply relax and receive. My singing can sound like a foreign language (some call it light language) - the sounds are entirely improvised, as I hold the intention to stay present and witness whatever arises. Sometimes, a clear message will come up, and I'll sing some lyrics in English; however, the healing comes from the raw expression of the sound itself. My singing may be to background music I chose just for you before the session, or you might hear my voice alone. Once I finish singing, I'll gently bring you back to the room, and we will have some time to chat about the experience.
Group Sessions
Group sessions work very similarly to 1:1's, except the focus shifts a little. You get less of the focused, tailored support and more of the potent, amplified energy of the group and support from the community, making it an accessible and cost-effective way to regularly experience sound healing.
Sessions start with a short grounding exercise and guided meditation, and then I tune into the whole group and sing intuitively to music that I picked specifically for that session. After I finish singing, I bring everyone back to the room and the group has 20 minutes to share, sit in the energy and integrate.

What about Preparation and Integration?
Preparation
-
🍀Create your Sanctuary: Set up your space beforehand to be as comfortable as possible - you might like to surround your space with things that have some meaning to you - favourite blankets, trinkets, things from nature etc. - just think about how you can create your own little healing sanctuary - this is the best preparation! 💖
-
💧Hydrate: Make sure you have some water or tea nearby: sessions often involve some releasing and clearing of emotions, and people often need more fluids during this time.
-
🎧Sound Quality: Please bring headphones to your session if you can. The sound quality will be much better for you!
Integration
-
📙Journalling: Some people find journalling to be a really helpful tool for them to integrate healing sessions. In a journal, see if you can write down any insights that came to you, or experiences that appeared new to you.
-
T🌸Take it Gently: If you can afford to, allow some extra space for yourself in the coming hours and days after your session to rest and reflect. New insights, moments of healings and changes can continue to unfold for a long time after a healing session is over, and it can be helpful to give yourself space to allow these changes to happen.
-
🌍Share in a Group: Sometimes it can be extremely helpful to talk about an experience you had with someone who is keenly listening! Come along to one of our group sound healing sessions (see the events page). In each group session, there will be space for group members to talk about their healing experiences, and you will have a chance to be energetically supported in a group enrivonment.
