Music Therapy

Regaining your creative spark,
finding your confidence

Do you feel disconnected, stressed, or like you've lost your sense of play?

As a Registered Music Therapist, I use music in varying and playful ways to help you connect deeper to yourself and others, express your true feelings, and find the confidence to be creative, joyful, and playful again.

What is Music Therapy?

Music therapy is the use of music and/or elements of music (like sound, rhythm and harmony) to accomplish goals, like reducing stress or improving quality of life.

This is not traditional music instruction. Our sessions are tailored entirely to you, using music as a tool for personal growth and healing. Activities in my music therapy sessions include improvisation with voice and musical instruments, collaborative song-writing, listening to your favourite music with me, and guided meditation to music (+ optional reiki healing).

We co-create a non-judgmental and supportive space where you can:

🔸Explore emotions through sound, offering an alternative to words.

🔸Build confidence by recognizing your unique musical contributions.

🔸Reduce stress and find groundedness through rhythmic and harmonic engagement.

🔸Develop intuition and flow through spontaneous musical creation.

The focus is always on the process of making music, not the product. All skill levels are welcome!

Who are my sessions for?

My private sessions are designed for individuals seeking precise, focused support for themselves or their loved ones' healing journey. As a Licensed Music Therapist, I  integrate traditional techniques with restorative, holistic practices like guided meditation, reiki and sound healing.

I work with all ages, from infants to the elderly, to address challenges such as stress and pain management, anxiety, emotional regulation, and non-verbal communication.

My music therapy private sessions are especially for you if:

🔸You find yourself at a roadblock with traditional talk therapy and are looking for a more creative, non-verbal way to express yourself

🔸You love music and are looking for a way to incorporate more of it into your life

🔸You feel burnt out and are looking for some deep restoration through doing something creative â€‹
